High-tech in the D-Power line

The D-Power line is always up to date. It is regularly expanded to include
the latest developments. The most recent example: the D-Power models 47, 48, 49, 50 and 51. 

All four are metal pin-type glow plugs with AQGS (Advanced Quick Glow System). The tip of the glow tube has a diameter of only 3.5 mm, which is considerably thinner than that of conventional metal pin-type glow plugs. Due to these reduced dimensions, AQGS glow plugs reach an operating temperature of 1,000°C in less than two seconds, for fast and reliable auto-ignition of the diesel mixture. In addition, they make a major contribution to reducing harmful emissions and smoke. These glow plugs are ideal for use in numerous automobiles from BMW and the Volkswagen group.

By the way, the D-Power line also includes ceramic glow plugs – for example the D-Power 21, which is ideal for selected engines from Mitsubishi.
